The University of Chichester’s Music department is one of the largest specialist music departments in the UK, and is committed to the development of emerging talent in all its diversity. Focusing on music as an applied art, the successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of the contextual, composition or performance strands of the BA (Hons) and BMus (Hons) curriculum in at least one other specialist area.

Combining your knowledge, skills and positive commitment to widening participation, you will also take significant responsibility for the department’s development and delivery in this area.

With a good relevant undergraduate degree and further professional or academic qualifications at Masters level, applicants will be able to demonstrate an emerging research profile, commensurate with career stage and a broad experience of the academic and professional networks, relevant to performance focused institutions in the UK.
